Urica Primus is an award-winning entrepreneur and mining leader who began her trailblazing career at 16 in philanthropy, becoming a mining owner by 18. At 24, she made history as the youngest President of the Guyana Women Miners Organisation and joined the Guyana Geology and Mines Commission (GGMC) Board, serving twice as Vice Chair while authoring five pivotal policies.

Globally, she shapes mining sustainability through roles on the CRAFT Code and Fairmined Steering Committees, contributed to the World Bank’s mining position paper, and now advises Mining 2030. At 29, she received Guyana’s Medal of Service for her sectoral impact.

As CEO of Stabroek Solutions (2025 Guyana Enterprise Supplier Award winner), she leads in expat relocation. A UN Alliance of Civilizations alumna and member of How Women Lead, she champions women’s empowerment worldwide.
