Mosa Telford is a writer who has written for stage, television, film, radio and print media. She is currently writing the final chapters of her first novel. A Buxtonian by birth, she has been writing since childhood and has been working with the radio serial drama Merundoi for the last fifteen years. Since 2016 she has been a columnist with Stabroek News writing a weekly column called ‘Think on That’.

Mosa has been the recipient of several awards at the Theatre Guild and National Drama festivals, was awarded the Godfrey Chin Prize for Heritage Journalism from the Guyana Cultural Association of New York in 2019 and was awarded the Guyana Prize for Literature for Best Drama in 2013.

She has a passion to see the development of the film industry in Guyana and wishes that there be more opportunities for Guyanese writers to excel.
