Roshaad Awad Chandra Lall is the Deputy CEO of RK’s Guyana Security Services and is a Director at RK’s Group Guyana. At age 21, after having studied criminology and having spent some time training with the US Army, Roshaad returned to Guyana. Although having great experiences in the USA, such as being an avid scuba diver, being a member of The National Society of Pershing Rifles Co. Q-8, and having trained vigorously in the martial art of Muay Thai, his love for Guyana pushed him to return home.
Now at the age of 23, having recently been promoted to the position of Deputy CEO, Roshaad is currently pushing the company to greater heights with clients ranging across the country, from both the public and private sectors.
He is also embracing his entrepreneurial skillsets by pioneering and spearheading The Eagle Division, a new arm of RK’s Guyana Security Services that is equipped with highly-trained officers to serve as Personal Protection Details, conduct cash-in-transit services, as well as mobile and community patrols, along with emergency response services.
He is a firm believer that crime evolves over time, and that we must always modify systems and technologies to best adapt to the ever-changing landscape of crime.
Roshaad has often said, “The response to crime fighting must not just be reactionary but should be tackled proactively.” He believes that it is important that we co-opt a culture-shift that sees the battle against crime from a sociological perspective.
He subscribes to the notion that the future of Guyana and her security is dependent on all individuals, from the youth to the elderly, and that one day we truly can embrace a safe and united Guyana, as long as we work together.
