Reflection

Listening deeply.

Speaking with courage.

Moving with purpose.

Sunday, May 3, 2026 | 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM
Listening matters. Collaboration matters.

On Sunday, we brought that into the room—and across screens—at the launch of the Women’s Forum Series 2026.

Because moving forward isn’t a slogan.
It’s a practice.

The launch of the Women’s Forum Series 2026 was not just about conversation—it was about how we listen, how we show up for each other, and how we move forward together.

In her opening remarks, Professor Paloma Mohamed reminded us that we still have a long way to go before women can truly be considered safe—and that these conversations must continue. Her reflection that the young girls are listening grounded the moment in both urgency and responsibility.

Dr. Monique Sarius, one of the moderators, noted that what stood out was the reminder that community matters as much as individual will—and that making room for other women does not require us to shrink ourselves.

The other moderator, Kenita Roberts, echoed that call in another way—urging women to step confidently into underrepresented spaces, to trust their abilities, and to begin even before they feel fully ready. Because growth does not wait for perfect conditions—it responds to courage.

This is the work we are called to do.
Creating spaces where we can listen, not just speak.
Where we collaborate, not compete.
Where we build pathways not only for ourselves, but for those coming after us.

This is not just a series.
It is a continuation.

Every meaningful transformation begins with a conversation.

Session 1 invited us to examine what we have inherited, what continues to shape us, and what future we are being called to create together.
