After the launch on April 26th, the second forum continued the work—not as another conversation, but as a moment of reflection, truth-telling, and deeper understanding.
This forum reminded us that transformation is not always loud. Sometimes it begins in the careful way we listen. Sometimes it begins when women name what they have carried, what they have overcome, and what they are still determined to build.
One of the reflections shared after the forum came from panelist Owona Madlingozi, who spoke with deep appreciation for the moderator, Cathy Hughes. Her note affirmed the power of thoughtful moderation—the kind that does not simply move a conversation along, but creates space for people to think, respond, and be fully heard.
That mattered.
Because the Women’s Forum Series is not about performance. It is about presence. It is about creating room for women across generations, sectors, and borders to bring their lived experiences into conversation with the future we are trying to shape.
The second forum carried that spirit forward.
It reminded us that women’s leadership is not one thing. It is voice. It is service. It is strategy. It is courage. It is the willingness to stand in difficult spaces and still choose contribution.
This is the work we are called to continue.
To listen more deeply.
To speak more honestly.
To collaborate more intentionally.
To build spaces where women do not have to shrink to belong.
This is not just a forum.
