Contributors and Awardees are both essential to BYG — but they represent different forms of impact. Understanding the difference helps you find your place.

 

CONTRIBUTORS
Active Builders

Contributors actively invest their skills, time, ideas, and experience into helping BYG grow its mission and deepen its impact. They mentor, advise, create, organize, and lead. They build from within — consistently and with purpose.

Contributors may be based in Guyana or anywhere in the diaspora. What unites them is commitment to the mission — not geography.

 

Awardees
Recognized leaders
Awardees are individuals recognized for excellence, achievement, and influence through BYG’s Entrepreneurial Awards. Their impact speaks for itself — and BYG gives it a stage.
Some Awardees are also Contributors. Some Contributors may one day become Awardees. Both hold distinct value in the BYG ecosystem.
