He has over fifteen (15) years of work experience spanning both the private & public sectors. He has worked with many clients, across various industries, providing the clarity needed to improve their businesses and has trained over 1000 employees impacting their lives positively.

He holds a Graduate Diploma in Business, Degree in Business Management, and a Diploma in Accountancy and is currently reading for his MBA. Mr. Smith also holds certificates in Marketing, Conflict Resolution Techniques, Communications and Leadership. He is married and has a beautiful daughter. He strongly believes in adding value to the lives of people he encounter as others have added value to him.

Mr. Smith is an active member of Cacique Toastmasters Club since October 2009 and he is currently the Area Director in charge of four clubs in Guyana. He was also the District 81 Impromptu Speaking Champion in 2013, going up against 14 Caribbean countries.

What is your greatest challenge doing what you are doing?

My greatest challenge is bringing clarity to the many business owners who believe that they can do it on their own and helping them to realize that having a Business coach is one of the best decision they can make.

What has been the most satisfying moment in your profession?

The most satisfying moment in my profession has been the day I decided to become a Certified Business Coach. I discovered my ‘WHY’, my purpose.

What piece of advice would you give to other young people who want to follow in your footsteps?

Do what gives you joy and as such you will be able to demonstrate and deliver with high level of sustained passion so that you are able to impact many lives directly and indirectly.

How do you define success?

As being able to overcome failure whether it is after the 1st attempt or several attempts. It is about creating a positive impact as you strive to better the reality of what you have achieved in comparison to what you can or what you are capable of achieving.

What will I do with my success?

I will use my success to improve/ add value to the lives of those who I come into contact with directly and to continuously transfer skills & knowledge, so that many are positively impacted indirectly.

Who has been your greatest inspiration?

My Family and Dr. Vishnu Doerga. My Family has been my greatest source of inspiration as they have demonstrated love, believe and a high degree of understanding as I continue to pursue my dreams. Dr. Doerga provided me with the opportunity to live my passion for teaching and helping others. His thirst for knowledge and his drive for solutions has inspired me to take Ownership and charter the course for my life.

What can we expect to see you doing in the future?

Creating positive impact in a massive way as we work towards creating Guyana’s Abundance through Business Re-education.
