How did you arrive at the idea for your business? I constantly experience substandard service throughout Guyana; every time this happens I find myself wanting to improve these services.
What was your key driving force to become an entrepreneur?
I have several large goals I’d like to achieve in the next 10-15 years Every time I attended an interview or received a job offer, I realized how limiting having a job was and that I wouldn’t be able to achieve these goals having a job.
What is your greatest challenge being an entrepreneur?
Having no one to be accountable to, no one to review my choices and actions and no pre-defined standard to follow for many things.
What has been your most satisfying moment in business?
When the Internet Service became profitable after 2+ years of investments and challenges.
What piece of advice would you give to other young people who want to become entrepreneurs?
You’ll experience lots of highs and lows, realize that you’re growing through all of it and try to enjoy both highs and lows.
How do you define success?
Success is relative to each person. I’d say you’re successful when you achieve something that you’d like to achieve.
Who has been your greatest inspiration?
I can’t pick out one single person. I’ve met lots of amazing people throughout my life that have inspired me in some way, these include my parents, many teachers and many people I’ve met in day-to-day life.
