Tula Stoll-Paddy is a Guyanese woman who loves her native land and firmly believes that all of us, in a spirit of unity, can accomplish anything. I migrated to the United States of America at an early age, but always maintained a connection to my homeland. Since 2005, I have been returning to Guyana at least once a year to spend time with family and friends. I believe because of these annual trips I was able to reconnect back to my roots, after being gone for a long time.
In 2011, I came back to Guyana on a missionary trip with my church, Global Dominion Impact Ministries, Inc., which is located in Jacksonville, FL. Our mission was to bring awareness, offer teachings, counseling sessions and training on how to deal with the domestic violence issues that are so prevalent in the country. This was an eye-opening experience for me. During this time, I met and later married my husband, Jason. We have been married for eight years now and I spend most of my time here in Guyana.
I graduated from DeVry Institute of Technology in 2002, with my Bachelors of Professional Studies in Computer Information Systems. I previously worked for Merrill Lynch as a Client Services Representative, Norton Lilly International as a Documentation Specialist and the Guyana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), as a Data Capture Specialist (ICAO Compliance Project).
Some of the things I love doing includes writing songs and poems, editing and formatting documents, encourage others to keep moving forward in spite of, and listening to teachings from the Bible. My favorite saying is, there is hope.
I am a believer and a follower of the Lord, Jesus; and I firmly believe each one of us was created with purpose, and for a purpose.
